Si vous débutez du côté de Prospect Street, la montée vers cette tour se fait via une très large route asphaltée (Weeks state park rd). Il y aura 2 magnifiques points de vue aménagé d'un banc au fil de la montée. Des panneaux informatifs vous indiquent les montagnes ornant ce superbe panorama. Le sentier en descente (Old Carriage Rd) est dans un environnement boisé sans aucun point de vue. Préparez-vous à un environnement très boueux au printemps ou l'automne sur ce sentier. Ce sentier mène à l'entrée via Reed Road. Il vous faudra poursuivre à gauche à l'intersection sur un autre sentier forestier "Around the mountain loop trail" jusqu'au stationnement.
Personnellement, j'aurais préféré faire l'aller-retour sur la grande route pour profitez à nouveau des vues !
Au sommet, une magnifique tour, très différente des tour d'incendie traditionnelle, ressemblant à la tour Rapunzel des films de Dysney. Il n'est malheureusement pas possible d'y accéder, du moins en hiver. Vous y retrouverez aussi une maison et un garage.
Une randonnée différente. Idéale pour de jeunes familles ou combo avec d'autres montagnes des environs.

If you start from Prospect Street, the ascent to this tower is via a very wide asphalt road (Weeks state park rd). There are 2 magnificent viewpoints with benches along the way. Informative signs indicate the mountains that adorn this superb panorama. The path downhill (Old Carriage Rd) is in a wooded environment with no viewpoints. Be prepared for muddy conditions in spring or autumn on this trail. This trail leads to the entrance via Reed Road. You'll have to continue left at the intersection onto another forest trail "Around the mountain loop trail" to the parking lot.
Personally, I'd have preferred to make the round trip on the main road to enjoy the views again!
At the top, a magnificent tower, very different from traditional fire towers, resembling the Rapunzel tower from the Dysney films. Unfortunately, it's not possible to access it, at least in winter. There's also a house and a garage.
A different kind of hike. Ideal for young families or combo with other nearby mountains.
